ACADEMIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL testing

Is your child struggling in school academically? Are they below grade level in reading or math? Or do they have difficulty with letter reversal? If so, your child may have dyslexia or a learning disability? According to the National Center for Learning Disabilities, 1 in 5 children in the U.S. have learning and attention issues (www.ncld.org/StateofLD).

Is your child struggling in school behaviorally? Do they have difficulty concentrating, attending to the teacher, or acting impulsively? Does your child struggle socially or behave in an unusual manner? The CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) reports 6.4 million American children aged 4 to 17 have been diagnosed with ADHD. About 1 in 59 children have been identified with an autism spectrum disorder (CDC).

Trust your intuition and that nagging thought that there is more to the story than your child not wanting to learn or acting out just because.
